In today's Viral Video of the Day, a TikTok video is melting hearts after capturing an unlikely playdate between a cat and a squirrel upstairs in a home.

In the clip, the tiny squirrel darts around the room, climbs onto the cat, and at one point even jumps right onto the cat's back as the two wrestle and chase each other.

Rather than turning into the usual cat-versus-squirrel showdown, the cat remains remarkably gentle, calmly playing along with its tiny friend.

"Never seen a cat behave so well with a rodent," one viewer commented.
