Ruskin, Florida - Aaron Carter and the mother of his child, Melanie Martin, have apparently reconciled after their public break-up.

'Tis the season for forgiveness.

On Sunday, the pop singer expressed his gratitude for the mother of his son, Prince in a video on his now-private Instagram page.

The clip showed the newborn baby adorably swaddled on the bed.

In the caption, Aaron wrote, "Our baby boy prince Lyric Carter Loves Christmas oldies just like his daddy. @missmelaniemartin I love you for giving me the greatest gift. You are an amazing woman l, my everything I am so grateful for you my darling."

He added, "Thank you to everyone who has been supportive. Relationships aren't easy but we love, cherish and adore our son. #GodBless Xo."

Aaron further confirmed the couple's apparent reconciliation by retweeting People magazine's article about the pair getting back together.

The sweet words are a complete turnaround from the couple's very recent, very public split.

Last week, the I Want Candy singer announced that he and Melanie had parted ways with a slew of candid Tweets. At the time, Aaron accused Melanie of "betraying and lying" to him, while also blaming her for ruining his family.

Over the weekend, Melanie took to her IG story to apologize to her fiancé, according to the news outlet.

"I just wanted to public apologize to my sons father @AaronCarter. My intentions in contacting his sister Angel were not of ill intent. I wanted to try to resolve the situation so we could all be a family. I now realize that wasn't my place and I never should've done that," she wrote.

She added, "I let my feelings get the best of me as I was hormonal and pregnant and would take it back if I could. I did this out of love I know it was wrong. I hope he can find it in his heart to forgive me."

It looks like love wins again, but as one internet user commented on Aaron's post, "The whiplash is real."
