Internet – Happy Gilmore probably wasn't so happy after being turned away from an IHOP restaurant.

After all, Adam Sandler just wanted a stack of pancakes!

In a TikTok video that has already been viewed over nine million times in just 24 hours, International House of Pancakes (IHOP) employee Dayanna Rodas shared her interaction with the actor on Monday.

The young hostess didn't recognize the comedian, who came in wearing a face mask and accompanied by his daughter.

"Not realizing it's Adam Sandler and telling him it's a 30min wait and him [of course] leaving bc he's not going to wait 30mins for IHOP," the TikToker captioned her video.

She shared the encounter, which was captured on the restaurant's surveillance footage, and held her head in her hands overlaid with a clown filter to highlight her mortifying mistake.

Yet, the down-to-earth comedian appeared calm, cool, and collected in the clip – and simply turned on his heels to search for some pancakes elsewhere.

TikTok users couldn't believe Dayanna didn't recognize Sandler's famous face. The funnyman filmmaker has had a 30-year career in Hollywood since his early days as a cast member on Saturday Night Live.

"Omg How could you not know?" one user commented. "I would have kicked somebody out just to get him seated."

"The fact that he didn't even cause a scene or use his name, he just accepted it and left...he's so humble," said another.

The employee said she had no idea her run-in with the star would blow up online, and now she just wants to make it right.

“Pleaseee come back,” she begged on TikTok.
