Amber Heard scores a huge profit on her Yucca Valley home

Yucca Valley, California - After losing the defamation case brought by ex-husband Johnny Depp, Amber Heard is staring at a $10 million bill. The sale of her southern California home, however, might help with that situation.

Amber Heard sold her secluded California property for a big profit, as she still faces a $10 million settlement from losing her case with ex Johnny Depp.

According to TMZ, Heard managed to sell the three-bed, three-bath desert home she purchased in 2019 for $570,000 for $1,050,000 on July 18, netting close to a 100% profit.

The property's new owner also confirmed with the outlet that they had been dealing with reps for the actor, but never her personally.

The good news for Heard comes two months after the verdict in her trial with Johnny Depp fell mostly in his favor.

The jury found that she defamed Depp and awarded her ex $10.35 million in damages, which her attorneys have claimed she can't afford.

Heard and her legal team have vowed to continue fighting and an appeal was launched last month, after a request for a mistrial to be declared was denied.

Over the weekend, thousands of pages of unsealed court documents regarding the case were released to the public, revealing damning allegations that Depp and his legal team fought to exclude from the original trial.
