Los Angeles, California - Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd have set the internet ablaze amid rumors the two could be dating.

Just business or something more?

On Wednesday, the Maleficent star and the Earned It singer were spotted leaving a restaurant together in LA

The two apparently dined at the popular celebrity eatery, Giorgio Baldi.

According to Page Six, the pair were enjoying their dinner date "for hours."

However, a source let slip that the suspicious rendezvous was nothing more than a business chat.

"They're clearly not trying to hide [the dinner]. He's definitely focused on getting to the movie business. He has the new HBO series [The Idol] he's starring in," the insider told the outlet.

The two did leave separately, yet the intimate evening was still enough to cause a frenzy amongst fans on social media.

The Weeknd and Angelina Jolie are currently single. The Save Yor Tears artist, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, previously dated Selena Gomez. He was also in an on-again-off-again relationship with model Bella Hadid, which ended in 2019.

As for Angelina, in June the Eternals star was caught paying her ex-husband Johnny Miller a late-night visit, but has remained singled following her tumultuous split from Brad Pitt.

The former spouses, who wed in 2014, are still embroiled in a nasty divorce/custody battle.

Will Angelina and Abel keep things professional?

They say never to mix business with pleasure, but in a world where Bennifer 2.0 exist, we can't help but at least be intrigued by this latest outing.
