Los Angeles, California - The world is still mourning the death of Anne Heche after her tragic car accident earlier this month. Now, new details have been uncovered about her burial and final resting place among Hollywood elite.

The actor was declared brain-dead after days in a coma, following a high-speed car accident in which she crashed her Mini Cooper into a residential house on August 4.

After her official cause of death was revealed to be smoke inhalation and blunt trauma, her death certificate has reportedly brought new details to light.

Heche's body was cremated on August 18, and her remains have been listed to be laid at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, California.

The cemetery, instated in 1899, is one of the oldest in the city and is home to the remains of many famous TV and film stars. The 52-acre property on Santa Monica Boulevard is in the National Register of Historic Places and hosts live music events and movie screenings on its lawn.

Hollywood royalty such as Burt Reynolds, Judy Garland, Johnny Ramone, Mickey Rooney, and Douglas Fairbanks Jr. are also buried at the cemetery.

It has not clear exactly when or if Heche's remains have been officially been laid to rest, or if she will have a private or public funeral service.

The 53-year-old was under investigation for driving under the influence of narcotics when she caused catastrophic damage to LA resident Lynne Mishele's home, but police have since closed the investigation following her death.
