New York, New York - Love is in the air! The Queen's Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy couldn't hide her smiles as she strolled the streets of New York with her rumored new boyfriend.

Paparazzi photos obtained by Page Six show the lovey-dovey couple holding hands and kissing while exploring the Big Apple on Monday.

Throughout the walk, Taylor-Joy, who rocked an oversized blazer and a little black dress, laughed, giggled, and smiled as her presumed boyfriend, sporting a leather jacket and a button-down shirt, whispered into her ear and covered her cheeks in kisses.

But who is the gorgeous man responsible for all the butterflies in Taylor-Joy's stomach? According to Page Six, it is musician and actor Malcolm McRae who starred in the award-winning short film Brotherly (2012) and is part of the band More.

So far it is unclear where and when the two met and fell in love.

Currently, the Golden Globe winner is in New York preparing to host the finale of Saturday Night Live's 46th season.

It seems like McRae is tagging along for support – and perhaps a bit of welcome distraction.

The two lovebirds have yet to officially confirm their relationship.

In a 2018 interview with The Guardian, Taylor-Joy said she likes to keep her personal life private.

"There's a beauty in being anonymous, there's a reason why we're actors, we're playing other people," she said.
