Ashton Kutcher runs NYC marathon and raises big money
New York, New York - Actor Ashton Kutcher ran and completed the New York City Marathon on Sunday, and successfully raised tons of money for a good cause.
The stars were out in stride on an unseasonable warm NYC Marathon.
Kutcher (44) ran the full 26.2 miles along with 50,000 others and raised over a million dollars for his Thorn charity, which fights sexual exploitation of kids on the internet.
It was the first marathon for the That 70s Show star, as he was joined by the tens of thousands of athletes and cheering fans who also flocked to the Big Apple to participate in the annual event. Fellow TV actors Ellie Kemper and Lauren Ridloff also completed this year's marathon for charities.
"I may have started a little bit too early. I think I started, like, six months ago," Kutcher explained. "It's brutal on the body. Like, I got injured halfway through, and now I feel like I recovered from the injury, but I’ve had a lot of help."
