Los Angeles, California - Britney Spears has deleted her Instagram after dropping a teaser of her new song with Elton John.

The pop star is clearly making her healing journey a priority, as she decided to removed her IG account following a cryptic Twitter post.

On Wednesday evening, Britney dropped a preview of her track, Hold Me Closer, with the Bennie and the Jets artist.

The sure-to-be iconic collaboration is Britney's first musical project since the termination of her 13-year conservatorship.

"Okie dokie..my first song in 6 years !!!! It’s pretty damn cool that I’m singing with one of the most classic men of our time," she tweeted, before praising the Bennie and the Jets singer.

"@eltonofficial !!!! I’m kinda overwhelmed…it’s a big deal to me !!! I’m meditating more and learning my space is valuable and precious !!!"

But that's not all Britney revealed, as she continued the post with a some deeply personal thoughts about her journey.

"I'm learning everyday is a clean slate to try and be a better person and do what makes me happy," the Piece of Me artist wrote.

"Yes I choose happiness today. I tell myself every day to let go of the hurt bitterness and try to forgive myself and others to what may have been hurtful."

Britney, who recently wed her longtime boo Sam Asghari, further wrote that she wants to be "fearless"

"I pray there actually is truth to the Holy Spirit and I hope that spirit is with my children as well !!! Yes...I choose happiness and joy today."

These were clearly not just idle musings, as just hours later, Britney's Instagram had disappeared. For someone who's been as active as her on the platform over the past years, that means a lot.
