It's no small feat to be honored at the Power of Women event, and Camila came well-prepared with a speech that hit all the high notes.

Touching on the importance of women banding together and the countless ways therapy has helped her, the 25-year-old left it all on the stage, and we love her all the more for it.

"Thank you, Variety, for bringing us here at a moment when women’s rights in America face greater threats than at any time in the last 50 years," she said.

The event took place on Thursday, days after a Supreme Court opinion that will likely overturn Roe V. Wade was leaked.

With that in mind, the music artist encouraged everyone to "get involved" in the fight for reproductive rights by "voting at the local level so that we have state and local legislators that are representing our interests."

"Obviously, donating can make a difference. And also being loud and angry about it," Camila noted. It wasn't just women's rights that she narrowed in on, but also her struggles with anxiety, and how therapy changed her life.

"My mental health was at an all-time low. I don’t know how I would’ve made it through if it weren’t for my mom. She helped find me the therapist and the treatment that changed my life."

She continued, "Throughout my treatment, a lot of which happened during the pandemic and after, I discovered I suddenly had space for creativity again, for intimate friendships, for new hobbies, [and] for activism."
