Houston, Texas – Is 50 Cent making his new home in a galaxy not so far away? The world-famous Darth Vader house is thought to be a contender for the rapper's next Houston home.

H-Town's newest resident celebrity seems to be pulling out all the stops in his efforts to adapt to life in Texas. He was even spotted sporting a cowboy hat at RodeoHouston's international wine competition, where he won Reserve Grand Champion Best of Show for his champagne Le Chemin du Roi, KHOU reported.

Rumor has it, though, that the rapper's next big purchase will be a little less cowboy themed and a little more intergalactic. According to the Houston Chronicle, he could be the next owner of the city's iconic "Darth Vader House."

If 50 Cent's Houston house is going to be Star Wars themed, this would certainly be a worthy acquisition, but what's the deal with this place anyway?

Built in 1992, the Star Wars house was the brainchild of Dr. Jean Cukier. The plastic surgeon and Star Wars fan had dreamed of living in a house reminiscent of a "stealth fighter jet." Now that his children are grown, though, Cukier believes that the four-bedroom, five-bathroom house is too much to handle.

The home's online listing is thrilling for Houstonians who have been dying to see inside the mysterious structure for decades. Having never opened up for the building for a house tour or released indoor photos, the previous owners had left everything up to the imagination.

The images in the listing didn't disappoint, either! Passersby might have imagined the inside of the home to be just as dark and imposing as its outer façade, but in fact, the white walls and big windows to the backyard create an airy space full of natural light.

The rumors quoted in the Houston Chronicle are unfounded, and 50 Cent's real estate agent, Beth Cassidy, has even publically stated that he is not interested. As a result, it is pretty clear that 50 Cent's next Houston home won't be the Darth Vader house.

Who knows, though, maybe this Houston home's not such a bad idea for 50 Cent. He hasn't made music for years and it could be the perfect inspiration to give him that little boost - may the force be with him!
