Though a date hasn't been publically announced, it's safe to say Gwen Stefani and country music star Blake Shelton (44) will be tying the knot soon.

The 51-year-old Slow Clap singer announced in an Instagram Story that she was "kidnapped" by friends and family who swept her away for a bridal shower full of love, gifts, and wine.

The couple announced their engagement in October 2020, and a source told People that since the two have been adamant about holding off on their big day until it was safe for everyone to attend.

As the Covid-19 pandemic began to dwindle due to a ramping up of vaccination efforts in the US, It became more viable and realistic to host one during the season of Stefani's choice – summer.

According to the anonymous source, Stefani has been planning her summer wedding blowout bash since the spring, and added insight into who might be in the wedding party.

"They are both ecstatic that it can finally happen. They are getting married this summer. Gwen's boys will be very involved," the source said.

The Los Angeles, California native shares three sons with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdal: Kingston (14), Zuma (12), and Apollo (6).
