Syracuse, New York - Hailey Bieber took to Instagram to pay tribute to her beloved grandmother, Carol Baldwin, who has passed away at 92.

Hailey shared a black-and-white portrait of her grandmother when she was young and wrote: "Yesterday at 5:52pm my beautiful Grandma Carol Baldwin, the matriarch of the Baldwin family completed her journey here on earth."

"Today I celebrate her, the life she lived, and the legacy she leaves behind," the model continued. "We love you."

On her Instagram Story, she shared a family photo of Carol and her children, which her sister Alaia Baldwin had posted earlier.

Pictured were siblings Alec (64), Stephen (56), William (59), Daniel (61), Elizabeth (66), and Jane (57), together with their mother.

In total, Carol Baldwin leaves behind 25 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Rust actor Alec Baldwin also gave tribute to his mother on Instagram on Friday.

In a statement from the family, the actor said, "My mother taught me about second acts. And third ones, too. She spent the last 25 years of her life as a fighter and a champion for the cause to which she devoted so much energy."

"We are all enormously proud of her accomplishments."
