Los Angeles, California - Pop star Halsey's latest Instagram post had a big, round surprise for her millions of fans: a baby bump!

Wednesday night, Halsey, whose real name is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, posted three photos on Instagram with the description "Surprise" and three emojis: a baby bottle, a rainbow, and a baby with wings.

The musician's pregnancy is clearly visible in all three photos.

In the first image, the 26-year-old is in a knitted rainbow bikini top, which, according to the Los Angeles Times, may be a nod to "the concept of a 'rainbow baby.'"

According to the paper, a "rainbow baby" refers to a healthy baby, born to someone who has lost a baby due to infant loss, miscarriage, stillbirth, or neonatal death. The term is a play on the idea that after a particularly rough storm, or loss, a rainbow appears.

Halsey experienced miscarriage while performing in concert in 2015. She first talked about her loss on the talk show The Doctors in 2018. During her appearance, she also discussed her struggles with endometriosis, which is a health condition that affects the uterus and can be very painful.

In her post, Halsey tagged her boyfriend Alev Aydin. The 37-year-old screenwriter and poducer commented, "Heart so full, I love you, sweetness." The two have been dating for some months, but they have kept their relationship private.

Halsey replied to Alev and wrote "I love you!!!!! And I love this mini human already."
