Chicago, Illinois - Harry Styles got more than he bargained for during the Chicago stop of his Love on Tour, as a bottle thrown from the crowd ended up hitting him in a particularly sensitive spot.

The As It Was singer hit the stage at the United Center on Friday, and one fan caught a moment on video that has since gone viral for a hilarious reason.

As he is known to do, Styles is seen making small talk with the crowd, aimlessly discussing the weather.

Out of nowhere, a bottle thrown from an audience member hits the singer right in the crotch, causing him to stop mid-sentence.

Clearly surprised and in pain, Styles keels over and groans, "Well, that's unfortunate."

He takes several seconds to regain his composure before trying to literally shake it off by jumping around.

In the end, like the consummate pro he is, Styles pokes fun at the unexpected episode and goes right back into his small talk routine, this time speaking in a high-pitched voice which garners tons of laughs from the crowd.

Styles also held up a sign throughout the night that read "Stand with the women of Iran" along with the hashtag Masha Amini.
