Hollywood heartthrob Idris Elba has a thrilling new project for fans of all ages!
London, UK - British actor Idris Elba plans to release a series of children's books.
"I feel privileged to have the opportunity to bring stories inspired by my daughter to life with my incredible partner Robyn Charteris, and the powerhouse team at HarperCollins," The Hollywood Reporter quoted the actor as saying.
In Charteris as his writing partner, Elba (48) has an experienced and acclaimed author on board. She received the British Academy Film Award for one of her children's series.
The stories are inspired by Elba's daughter Isan (19), the actor-turned-writer said. Isan was a Golden Globes ambassador in 2019.
Elba did not provide further details on the content of the children's books.
In addition to picture books, the deal also includes fiction for children.
