Los Angeles, California - In a new interview, Kanye West claims that Kim Kardashian is still his wife despite their ongoing divorce and amid her public outings with Pete Davidson.

On Thursday, the rapper alleged that he was never served divorce papers from his estranged his wife.

He also wasn't shy about wanting Kim back.

While on Revolt TV's podcast Drink Champs, the 44-year-old referred to Kim as his "wife" as he recalled a moment when the future lawyer helped him out.

"My wife – 'cause she's still my wife – ain't no paperwork," he confidently replied.

The new remarks are contrary to past updates about both of them filing paperwork amid their seperation earlier this year. In February, it was reported that the reality star filed for divorce from the hip-hop artist after six years together.

Despite the split, Kimye has remained on good terms.

Kim attended all of Ye's DONDA listening parties over the summer. She even participated in the last one by sporting a wedding gown and reenacting her vows with Ye.

The rapper also shared that he wasn't too thrilled with Kim's iconic opening monologue on Saturday Night Live.

"SNL making my wife say 'I divorced him' because they just wanted to get that bar off," he claimed in the new interview. "And I ain't never even seen the papers, we're not even divorced."

The Jesus Walks artist further added, "That ain't no joke to me. My kids want their parents to stay together. I want us to be together."

Ye's remarks are quite telling, and the timing is peculiar, as they follow Kim's recent outings with SNL alum Pete Davidson.

The reality star has been spotted out three times with the comedian since Halloween.

Neither Kim nor Pete have confirmed that they are dating, but sources claim the beauty mogul is "intrigued" by the New York native.

It is the first person Kim has repeatedly stepped out with since her split from her hubby, yet Kanye had a brief romance with supermodel Irina Shayk that ended in August.
