Is Leonardo DiCaprio breaking his rumored age rule with Gigi Hadid?
New York, New York - Leonardo DiCaprio seems to be moving on from his split from girlfriend of four years with the help of his rumored new boo: Gigi Hadid.
You know what they say: progress is progress, no matter how small, and it seems like Leo might be taking baby steps to break out of his cycle of strictly dating women under 25.
For those who didn't tune into the roasting of the famed actor on Twitter after news broke of his and Camila Morron's breakup, it seems as if Leo has historically dated women until they are 25 years old. One user even made a data visualization of his dating history to showcase the pattern. Camila recently turned 25, too, which only added fuel to the under-25 fire.
But it seems that Leo is breaking his own dating rules with a new rumored love interest in 27-year-old model – and mother – Gigi Hadid. According to Page Six, which confirmed the rumored romance with multiple sources, the 47-year-old has coupled up with Gigi.
The pair was recently spotted at Leo's exclusive party at a loft in Soho over the weekend that apparently featured performances by Diplo and Kodak Black.
Leo and Gigi have been hitting NYC
Though deets regarding the timeline of Leo and Camila's breakup are unknown, one source told the outlet that they spotted Gigi and Leo at the bougie, members-only club the Ned in August. One would hope this means that the actor and his latest ex lover split on the low, low long before the media caught wind of the breakup.
Gigi is coming out of a long term relationship herself, having ended things with the father of her child and former One Direction band member Zayn Malik last October.
The fact Leo is rumored to be dating Gigi, who is both over the age of 25 and a mother, is a relationship game-changer for the actor.
If all the rumors turn out to be true, perhaps it means that Leo's – gasp – ready for something more serious as he settles into his late 40s.
