The Bahamas – Pop singer Jason Derulo took to Instagram to make a special announcement: he and his girlfriend, actor Jena Frumes, are expecting their first child!

The video announcement shows a montage of the happy couple at a beach in the Bahamas. Frumes' growing baby bump features prominently in the images.

"Couldn't be more excited for this new chapter in our life @jenafrumes," Derulo (31) wrote under the post.

Frumes (26) likewise shared a picture of herself and the singer at the beach, simply writing "Mom & Dad."

According to People, the couple has been together since shortly before the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

They met at the gym and started dating shortly thereafter.

Ever since, the two have been posting adorable snapshots and videos on social media, making it clear how deeply in love they are.

It couldn't have come at a better time for Derulo, who only last year told PageSix that he might be getting "baby fever" after spending a lot of time with his 4-year-old niece.

The couple now seems to be brimming with joy at the prospect of becoming a family.
