Los Angeles, California - Jason Momoa has ditched some of his famous long locks for a new hairstyle and an amazing head tattoo!

The Aquaman star isn't waiting till 2023 to make a change as he debuted his rad new do that he topped off with an intricate detail.

On Wednesday, Momoa shared a reel on Instagram, showing off his partially shaved head.

Thankfully, not all of his beautiful brown hair is gone, so fans can breathe a sigh of relief.

But the 43-year-old actor completed the new look with a terrific tribal tat that paid tribute to his Hawaiian roots.

"Here we go @hawaiianairlines is back we’re going to New Zealand HAWAII TO AOTEROA Mahalo to my OHANA for being there for me yesterday @suluape_keone it was a true honor 20 years in the making," the DC star captioned the post.

Momoa's transformation received a nod of approval from his peers.

His Fast & Furious costar Tyrese commented, "Love you big bro your spirit is humble and so infectious and great! FastX is going to kill shit…….Welcome to the FAST FAMILY!!!!!"

Twilight director Justin Chon added to the hype with a few fire emojis under the post.

Momoa's partly-shaved do comes on the heels of new single status after parting ways with his wife Lisa Bonet, and most recently, Eiza Gonzalez.
