Weinstein, who is currently serving a 23-year prison sentence after being convicted of sexual misconduct in New York in 2020, listened as California's first lady cried through most of her two-and-a-half hour testimony.

When asked to identify the former movie producer, Newsom (48) reportedly said, "He’s wearing a suit, and a blue tie, and he’s staring at me," before erupting into tears.

She went on to recount an incident in 2005, when she was an aspiring actor. Weinstein invited her to the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, only after a few weeks of meeting her for the first time, for what she assumed was a work-related meeting.

The two ended up in his suite, where Weinstein allegedly came out of the bathroom in a bathrobe, and began masturbating and groping Newsom.

"Horror! Horror!" she said, describing how she felt. "I'm trembling. I'm like a rock, I'm frigid. This is my worst nightmare. I'm just this blow-up doll!"

She proceeded to give graphic details about the alleged rape that took place.

When asked by Deputy District Attorney Marlene Martinez why she didn't leave, Newsome explained, "I didn’t see the clues and I didn’t know how to escape."

"Because you don't say no to Harvey Weinstein," she added. "He could make or ruin your career."

Weinstein faces more charges

Newsom was the fourth of five women to testify who have accused Weinstein of rape. He is now facing 11 counts of rape and sexual assault, which he has pled not guilty to.

The defamed producer's legal team has consistently argued that all of his accusers had consensual sex with Weinstein in an effort to advance their careers.

If Harvey Weinstein is convicted on all 11 charges, he may face a sentence of up to 140 years in prison.
