Los Angeles, California - Rapper Big Sean and singer Jhené Aiko surprised their fans with some big baby news over the weekend!

The couple was spotted walking around the hills on Saturday, with Aiko sporting a clearly visible baby bump.

Sean then took to Instagram on Sunday to remove all doubt and make the big news official.

"Whole new motivation foreal!" the rapper exclaimed in his Stories. "Very grateful God continues to bless us, Thank You."

"Can’t wait to be a Dad," he added.

That same day, Aiko also confirmed the happy development, simply stating "thank you" on her Twitter page, and posting a photo of her younger self holding her tummy on Instagram.

In his 2020 hit song Deep Reverence from his fifth studio album Detroit 2, Sean revealed for the first time that the couple suffered a miscarriage.

"Should be a billionaire based on the time off I’m not takin’," the 34-year-old artist raps on the track. "Probably why this s*** with me get crazy, and we lost a baby." He later confirmed the incident on an episode of Sway in the Morning.

The two stars will hopefully have a stress-free pregnancy on this occasion as they venture into parenthood for the first time together.
