Calabasas, California - Kim Kardashian has apparently clarified a rumor about her past connections with Travis Barker after the Blink-182 drummer's ex-wife claimed the two had an affair while he while was still married.

Over the weekend, family drama was the theme between Barker's daughter, Alabama, and his ex-wife Shanna Moakler.

The teen shared a personal text exchange between herself and her mother on her Instagram Story, which showed Moakler claiming she ended her marriage to Barker because he cheated with Kim Kardashian.

"I divorced Travis because I caught him having an affair with Kim! Now he’s in love with her sister…It’s all gross…I’m not the bad guy!" Moakler wrote. The mother and daughter apparently have a strained relationship.

On Monday, a source close to Kardashian said Moakler's claims aren't true.

"Travis and Kim have never had a romantic relationship. They were friends who met through Paris Hilton and that is also how Kourtney and Travis were introduced," the insider explained to Page Six.

The former wife of the artist has been very vocal about her stance towards his new relationship with Kourtney.

Shanna Moaker heavily criticized Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian's relationship and recently even called their PDA "weird," though she claims to have moved on from her ex-husband.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian hardly seems fazed by the silly gossip and drama. In her latest Instagram post, the reality star is seemingly "stranded" on what appears to be an island with a bare face and a string bikini.
