Calabasas, California - Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson's budding romance continues to heat up and now we're finding out a bit more about what they see in each other.

According to insiders, the 28-year-old SNL regular is just what the doctor ordered for Kim.

After spending the weekend together, a source spilled to People that Kim is appreciating the "ease" in her new relationship with Pete.

"He's exactly what Kim needed after her divorce – someone to make her laugh and just have a fun time with. The end of her marriage was a very dark time for her and Pete has been the best antidote," the tipster shared t.

The insider also dished that Davidson is making their relationship his top priority.

"He's flying back and forth and spending more time in LA when he can to see Kim. He's so into her and is always 'my girl' this and 'my girl' that," the source continued.

On Sunday, the couple were spotted having breakfast together at the Beverly Hills Hotel and even posed for selfies with a fan during the outing.

"She still loves the attention. They have been getting to know each other quickly. Kim likes him more and more," a second source added.

Despite the fact that things are going well between the two, Pete has yet to meet Kim's children. The reality star shares four kids with her estranged spouse Kanye West, who's still adamantly trying to win back his family.

This extra complication might be why the SKIMs owner is keeping the romance separate from her family so far. What's more, it's barely been a month since the two started hanging out – it may be a bit too soon for that kind of introduction.

Nevertheless, it seems like Kim is enjoying her time with Pete and things are moving fast, so expect to hear more on that front.
