Los Angeles, California - As the world continues to mourn the tragic death of singer Aaron Carter, Lindsay Lohan has also paid tribute to the late star.

On Monday, The Parents Trap star reflected on her ex-boyfriend's shocking passing while promoting her upcoming movie Falling For Christmas, which hits Netflix this week.

While speaking to ET's Denny Directo, Lohan shared that she still has a "lot of love" for the 34-year-old teen idol who died on Saturday.

"My heart goes out to his family and may he rest in peace," the 36-year-old said of her former flame's untimely death.

"And God bless him," Lohan said. "Just a lot of love there."

Lohan again commented on Carter and the "many memories" she shared with him in a separate interview with Access Hollywood.

"So many memories from when I was so young, just that era of my life," the Freaky Friday actor stated.

"My prayers go out to his family, and may he rest in peace and God bless."

Lohan and Carter's brief romance was part of an infamous love triangle with Hilary Duff as it was reported that the I Want Candy singer was dating both famous ladies around the same time.

The Lizzie McGuire star also honored Carter on Instagram, noting that he had "charm that was absolutely effervescent."

"Boy did my teenage self love you deeply. Sending love to your family at this time. Rest easy," Duff concluded.
