Lizzo's new hit About Damn Time took the internet by storm when in came out in April. The chart-topper inspired a viral dance trend under the hashtag #aboutdamntime.

And now users are making some lyrical adjustments after getting what is arguably the song of the summer stuck in their heads. It all started with TikTok user Judith Rupp, who posted a video of her version that quickly got to almost 450,000 views.

The original lyrics to the About Damn Time verse in question are: "About damn time! In a minute I'mma need a sentimental man or woman to pump me up..."

Judith switched it up to: "Let me set that time! In a minute I'mma need a cinnamon roll from the oven to fill me up," complete with perfectly synchronized beeps of the microwave timer and a little dance, peanut butter jar and spoon in hand.

The remix definitely gave Lizzo a craving, as her response was absolutely delicious.

Tuesday, Lizzo hit back with her own effort, using Judith's audio.

In the short clip, she opens a box of cinnamon rolls, puts one in the microwave, tops it with almond ice cream, and adds what looks like cinnamon crunch flakes. It all ends with a happy dance to celebrate the snack.

The response quickly went viral, hitting a whopping 8.4 million views by Wednesday morning.

This isn't the first time someone switched out the "sentimental" line to great comic effect. TikTok user Kate Gonzales recently caught her four-year-old singing about needing a cinnamon roll to "pump me up."

These alterations inspired Lizzo to take a poll in her Instagram story Tuesday on whether she raps "cinnamon roll" or "sentimental."

Aside from everything else, it's clear that Lizzo is here for her fans' interactions with her music. "Keep tagging me in ur vids I love to it," she wrote on Instagram after posting a compilation of #aboutdamntime dance challenges.
