Master P announces death of his daughter Tytyana Miller
Minneapolis, Minnesota - Rapper Master P announced on Sunday that his daughter, Tytyana Miller, has passed away.
"Our family is dealing with an overwhelming grief for the loss of my daughter Tytyana," the rapper said in his social media post. She was 29.
"We respectfully request some privacy so that our family can grieve. We appreciate all of the prayers love and support."
While a cause of death hasn't been provided, Miller has gone public in the past about her struggles with drug use.
"Mental illness and substance abuse is a real issue that we can't be afraid to talk about," Master P added.
"With God, we will get through this."
In an episode of Growing Up Hip Hop back in 2016, Miller opened up to her father about her struggles, and said she planned to go to rehab.
Rapper Romeo Miller, formerly known as Lil' Romeo, also mourned the loss of his sister.
"I'm forever grateful for the memories I did have with my amazing sister," he wrote in a post. "Love on your loved ones, life is short."
"The silver lining, I know she's in a way better place and finally at peace and free," he added.
