Los Angeles, California - Michael Cera confirmed that he is a new dad, after his pal Amy Schumer unintentionally spilled the beans first!

Although the actor's little secret was hilariously outed before he was ready to announce the news himself, Cera has now officially revealed that he is a first time father.

On Tuesday, the 33-year-old told Extra that he welcomed his new baby with his wife Nadine over half a year ago.

"He's just a little 6-month-old baby," the Superbad alum remarked to the outlet.

The admission follows Schumer's blunder on Friday, when she accidentally shared the news while speaking with Entertainment Tonight.

"Michael has a baby, too," the 40-year-old Oscar host spilled during the joint interview with Cera, her Life & Beth costar.

"Is that public knowledge? I just outed him. I just outed his baby," she said.

At the time, Cera responded coyly: "We're right at the beginning of it. We're doing the very basics right now."

Cera has maintained a very private personal life, so it's not much of a surprise that he chose to keep the family news to himself. The actor reportedly wed Nadine in 2018, yet it was only picked up on after the two were spotted in Brooklyn with matching gold wedding bands.

Schumer and Cera's upcoming Hulu series Life & Beth follows the Trainwreck star's titular character attempting to navigate life through complicated situations while approaching age 40. Cera plays a farmhand at a vineyard and a potential love interest for Schumer's troubled sales rep character.

Life & Beth airs on Hulu on March 18.
