Naomi Campbell shocks fans with exciting baby news!
Malindi, Kenya - What an unexpected but beautiful surprise: Naomi Campbell has become a mother for the first time!
On Tuesday, the 50-year-old supermodel announced the exciting news of her first child's birth. She shared a picture of her tiny daughter's feet resting in the palm of her hand on Instagram.
"A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother," the heartwarming caption of the photo reads. "So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life."
"There are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love."
Campbell tagged her mother, Valerie Morris-Campbell, in the post, but gave no further details.
The baby's name and date of birth as well as the name of the father remain a mystery.
Her fans were shocked – but in the best possible way! Within minutes, her comments section was filled with heart emojis and congratulatory messages.
In 2017, Naomi Campbell spoke to the Evening Standard about becoming a mother, stating that she was in no rush but always wished to start a family someday.
"I think about having children all the time," she said. "But now with the way science is I think I can do it when I want."
She also admitted that she didn't want to be a single mom. "I do want a father figure. I think it's important. It's the way I feel today."
