New York, New York - During his appearance on The Breakfast Club, Nick Cannon finally dished on how he came to have seven kids with seven different women.

For those who've missed the news, in June the Wild N' Out host recently welcomed his seventh baby, a son, with Alyssa Scott.

Only a matter of weeks earlier, Nick also celebrated the arrival of a set of twin boys with DJ Abby de la Rosa.

Overall, the actor is now a father of seven, but his situation has left plenty of people confused. Now, he's finally ready to clear the air when it comes to his prolific numbers.

On Monday, the 40-year-old sat down with the infamous morning show, The Breakfast Club, where he explained that he doesn't "subscribe to monogamy."

"Those women, all women, are the ones that open themselves up and say 'I would like to allow this man in my world. And I will birth this child.' It ain’t my decision. I’m following suit," he shared.

He added that each mother of his child understands how he feels about settling down and that doesn't "go around" deliberately "impregnating" women.

Nick also spoke on the backlash he's gotten for his big family.

"That’s a Eurocentric concept when you think about the ideas … that you’re supposed to have this one person for the rest of your life. The idea that a man should have one woman? We shouldn’t have anything. I have no ownership over this person," he insisted.

In addition to his latest bundles of joy, Nick Cannon shares two children, Golden (5) and Powerful (8 months), with ex Brittany Bell. The Drumline star also has twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with his former wife, Mariah Carey.
