Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Diamonds are popular in the jewelry world, but would you really want one stuck between your eyebrows? For rapper Lil Uzi Vert from Philadelphia, the answer was clearly in the affirmative.

Some rappers love bling-bling, like fat wristwatches, fancy cars, glittery jewelry, and grillz, and Lil Uzi Vert is one of them.

Now, the 26-year-old has taken things a step further.

The tattooed musician allegedly has an almost-eleven-carat pink diamond inserted between his eyebrows. Lil Uzi Vert showed off his newest piercing to his 13.8 million Instagram followers.

The gem is allegedly worth $24 million. The rapper said he bought the diamond at an auction from New York jeweler Elliot Eliantte and has been paying it off bit by bit since 2017.

The diamond on Lil Uzi Vert's forehead isn't the rapper's first piece of expensive jewelry, but it is probably the priciest thing he owns.

The gem is said to be worth more than his car collection, which includes a Bugatti Veyron, an Audi R8, a Lamborghini Urus, and a USSV Rhino GX, plus his estate.

On Wednesday, the rapper and the jeweler shared photos and videos of the piercing.

In his live Instagram story, Lil Uzi Vert explained: "it still has a long bar in it so it can move." He said that once the swelling goes down, he'll get a shorter bar, at which point the diamond won't be able to move anymore.

Lil Uzi Vert uploaded a disturbing photo to Twitter on Wednesday, which he has since deleted, showing blood running from the diamond piercing, revolt.tv reports.

For now, it looks like this multimillion-dollar piercing is here to stay.
