During her cover story with Rolling Stone, the pop star got candid about her bout with bipolar disorder and shockingly shared that her dreams of motherhood may be in danger.

The 30-year-old Rare singer recalled a painful moment when she was crying in her car after visiting a friend who was trying to get pregnant.

The visit particularly painful because Gomez won't be able to carry her own children as long as she takes the two medications necessary to keep her bipolar disorder in check.

"That's a very big, big, present thing in my life," the Only Murders in the Building star explained to the outlet.

She added that despite the challenge, the singer remains hopeful that she will become a mom through other means.

"However I'm meant to have them, I will."

The Disney alum, who's new documentary Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me hits AppleTV+ this Friday, also dished on an episode of psychosis in 2018 before she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

She shared that her loved ones didn't recognize her at the time, with her mother learning about the ordeal via TMZ.

Eventually the Heart Wants What it Wants singer was able to get help from a doctor after detoxing the previous medications she was on.

"I had to learn how to remember certain words. I would forget where I was when we were talking. It took a lot of hard work for me to (a) accept that I was bipolar, but (b) learn how to deal with it because it wasn't going to go away."

Now Gomez is looking towards her future as she has hinted that new music may be coming sooner than expected.

The actor dished to Variety that she could have some new tunes "hopefully next year" and possibly a tour! "Maybe! I know. I should, right?" Gomez teased.
