On Wednesday, the Pineapple Express star dished to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that he and his wife Lauren got really high before attending Adele's recent TV concert special.

The actor, who's an avid smoker, explained that the couple assumed the show would be "a small Adele concert" and that they had smoked a lot of marijuana beforehand.

"We were like, 'It's an Adele concert, it's in the park.' We smoked a ton of weed and were like, 'We're just gonna go and enjoy this lovely Adele concert,'" the 39-year-old began.

"We pull up and we see cranes, camera cranes, there's drones flying around. There's an entire crew there, and I'm like, 'Oh no. We are at the filming of a television special, I think,'" he recalled.

He then learned that his seats were front row, center – "as close as you can fathomably be."

The Pam and Tommy star recalled the mortifying experience and noted that there were "so many more famous people" at the event who were more deserving of the front row view – including Drake, Oprah Winfrey, Kris Jenner, and Ellen DeGeneres.

When the late night host asked Seth if he knew Adele personally, he replied, "No! I don't know Adele. And if Adele, you're watching this, why did you do that?"

He continued, "I have no idea why they did that. It was truly wild. … The whole time I was like, 'Just try to look cool.' It was hard for me to look cool 'cause I'm uncomfortable, I'm too close."

"I feel Leonardo DiCaprio behind me, thinking like, 'Did Seth Rogen write Rolling in the Deep? Is that why he's so close?,'" he joked.

Despite the mishap, Seth shared that he and his wife thoroughly enjoyed themselves, calling the concert "the most popular thing I've ever been in in my entire life."
