New York, New York - Swifties, rejoice! Taylor Swift has just announced a further extension of her highly-anticipated Eras Tour in the US.

Earlier this month, the superstar revealed that she would be going on tour for the first time in five years with The Eras Tour, which she described as "a journey through the musical eras" of her past albums.

The tour will include several notable special guests including Phoebe Bridgers, Gracie Abrams, girl in red, Paramore, and MUNA at select performances.

Fans scrambled to register for the presale on Ticketmaster in such numbers that the site crashed.

While the massive demand has heightened the anxiety among Swifties, the Anti-Hero singer's latest announcement is sure to give hope to fans looking to snag a highly-coveted ticket.

On Friday morning, Swift added 17 additional US shows for the Eras Tour, bringing the tour up to 52 shows in total.

With the new additions, the 2023 stadium tour is set to be her biggest tour to date.

Like her previous eight-show extension, all new locations are additional stops in cities that had already been confirmed for the tour.

Most cities are receiving a second or third night, with the exception of SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, which will now host five shows.

Per Variety, the Eras Tour is predicted to be the highest-grossing US tour in history, a record that Swift herself already holds for the Reputation Stadium Tour.

The battle for tickets will commence next week when the Ticketmaster Verified Fan presale launches on November 15.
