Los Angeles, California - Say it ain't so! Tia Mowry has filed for divorce from her longtime spouse, Cory Hardrict.

Another longtime celebrity couple has unfortunately called it quits.

On Tuesday, news broke that the Sister, Sister star, has filed for divorce from her husband of 14 years.

Per legal documents that were obtained by The Blast, Mowry filed for the dissolution of marriage in Los Angeles County Courts and listed "irreconcilable differences" as the reason.

The 44-year-old author is also seeking joint custody of son Cree and daughter Cairo, and is asking the court to terminate the ability to award spousal support to either party.

Additionally, Mowry alleged in the paper work that the estranged couple already have a prenuptial agreement that covers their assets and child support.

The site further noted that the child star has hired Kim Kardashian's lawyer Laura Wasser to represent her during their divorce proceedings.

Following the announcement, Mowry took to Instagram to address the painful split.

"I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways. These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness," she wrote under a black-and-white shot of her and Hardrict.

"We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children. I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives."

The sad news is definitely unexpected, as this couple was very popular with fans.

The pair, who wed in 2008 after dating for six years, just celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary in April.
