Tom Hanks tells fans to "back the f**k off" during NYC outing
New York, New York - Tom Hanks got extremely protective over his wife Rita Wilson after fans got a little too aggressive.
Whew! When it comes to his lady, Hanks doesn't play.
On Thursday, TMZ released footage of the veteran actor and his longtime spouse being followed by a group of people while walking towards their car in New York City Wednesday night.
At one point in the video, Wilson yells after tripping and falling due to a fan bumping into her from behind.
As the Oscar-winner's wife regained her composure, Hanks yells at the crowd to "stop it" before putting his hands up to demand they "back the f**k off" for "knocking over my wife."
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are the ultimate couple goals!
If any city has aggressive paparazzi and fans, it's the Big Apple.
Plenty of A-listers have complained about the lack of boundaries when it comes to the paps throughout the years.
For that reason, we give major kudos to the Forrest Gump star for coming to his wife's defense. And with their latest outing, the longtime spouses again proved they are the epitome of couple goals.
Hanks and Wilson, both 65, wed in 1988 and share two children in rapper Chet (31) and Truman Theodore Hanks (26).
The couple recently also celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary.
Wilson honored the special occasion with a sweet Instagram post that featured a snap from their wedding day in 1988.
