Vanessa Bryant posts emotional new tribute to Kobe on Instagram

Newport, California - True love never dies and Vanessa Bryant is proof! On Friday, Vanessa honored her late husband Kobe Bryant in an emotional Instagram post. The athlete and their teenage daughter Gianna tragically passed away after a helicopter crash in 2020.

Vanessa Bryant (39) posted a new photo of herself leaning her head against a larger portrait of her late husband.

Bryant wrote, "Love you always," in the caption underneath the post that's garnered over one million likes so far.

Earlier this month, Bryant also honored Gianna, affectionately known as "Gigi", on what would've been her 15th birthday.

"Dear Gianna, Happy 15th Birthday! I love you! I miss you every day! I wish you were here with us. There are no words to express how much I miss you. I love you Mamacita!" Bryant penned in the moving tribute to her daughter.

Since Kobe and Gianna's unfortunate deaths, Vanessa has worked tirelessly to keep her husband and daughter's legacies alive. Vanessa relaunched her husband's non-profit organization the Mamba & Mambacita Foundation.

In March, Vanessa spoke to People for their Women Changing the World issue about her grief and how she continues to stay strong for her daughters Natalia, Bianca, and Capri.

"This pain is unimaginable [but] you just have to get up and push forward. Lying in bed crying isn't going to change the fact that my family will never be the same again. But getting out of bed and pushing forward is going to make the day better for my girls and for me. So that's what I do," she shared.

On Saturday, Kobe Bryant will be inducted into the 2020 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, where he will be honored by Michael Jordan.
