Paris, France - High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens took to Instagram to gleefully confirm that the rumors are true: she and MLB star Cole Tucker are engaged!

Just a few weeks ago, the rumor mill was churning out reports that Vanessa Hudgens and Tate Cole had gotten engaged.

It took a while, but on Thursday, Vanessa confirmed the happy whispers with an Instagram post.

"YES. We couldn't be happier," she wrote in the caption, and shared two super cute pics.

In the first snap, Cole Tucker has the Spring Breaker's actor wrapped in his arms as she makes a kissy face and shows off her engagement ring.

The second photo shows the beautiful bling on Vanessa's and the Paris skyline with the illuminated Eiffel Tower.

Cole, it seems, popped the question while the two were on vacation together in the city of love, back in November 2022. How romantic!

Celebrity friends and fans alike congratulated the couple in the Insta comments.

Pretty Little Liars actor Ashley Benson wrote, "Love you guys," while Lily Collins of Emily in Paris exclaimed, "Ahh congratulations!"

Fashion designer Jeremy Scott was particularly thrilled by the lovely news, quipping: "Sketching the dress now!"

The happy pair met in a Zoom meditation group, as Vanessa revealed on The Drew Barrymore Show in 2021. The actor also revealed that she was so into Cole that she slid into his DMs. One thing led to another and on Valentine's Day 2021, the cuties made their relationship Instagram official.

Before getting together with Cole, Vanessa was in a relationship with fellow High School Musical alum Zac Efron. After five years together, the actors called it quits in 2010 because they had grown apart.
