Zendaya reveals how she knew Tom Holland was "the one"
New York, New York - Zendaya dished on her "spidey senses" tingling when she met Tom Holland – and why she's staying silent on those marriage rumors!
While speaking with the New York Times' Modern Love podcast on Wednesday, the Euphoria star shared, "I think sometimes, at least in my personal experience, I found that, sometimes people can get nervous around people."
She added, "But there's a certain feeling that I was able to experience when I knew that this is my person, because I didn't."
The 29-year-old explained that she quickly felt "really peaceful" and "calm" with Tom, yet "more nervous" when she was away from him.
"And that's when I was like, 'Ah, that's a good sign, that's me listening to intuition,'" she added.
Zendaya revealed the pair first met at a chemistry read for Spider-Man: Homecoming, and though she was "nervous," Tom eased her fears by "just being a nice person" and "lovely" that day.
Zendaya isn't spilling any tea on if she married Tom Holland!
As for whether Tom and Zendaya actually got hitched, the Dune star is remaining tight-lipped on the rumors.
She further told the podcast, "I just feel like for me there is this level of a parasocial investment in my personal relationship.
The Challengers actor continued, "I do know that I'm a public person and so is he and I'm also aware that we've grown up in front of people and we've done movies where we fall in love with each other, so I really do understand that and I don't want to dismiss that like, 'Stay out of my business' or whatever."
Yet, Zendaya added, "In a lot of ways, I'm also a very private person, and I try my best to be able to have things for myself and for him as well."
Though she won't officially confirm the talk, the Emmy winner has been rocking a new gold band with her engagement ring that has fans convinced that they did indeed get married.
