Within the release of set times for the first weekend of Coachella, which kicks off on Friday, came a hidden gem of an announcement: Arcade Fire will now be playing.

Not only was the band added one day before the festival starts, their set time is at 6:45 PM PST on Friday.

Though Coachella organizers failed to make any kind of official statement about the latest addition to the lineup, Arcade Fire surely did.

On Thursday, the band posted a tweet featuring a photo of the band's lead singer, Will Butler, seemingly announcing the news.

"Decided to spend my birthday somewhere warm and dry," the band wrote, tagging Coachella in the cheeky tweet.

Butler's birthday was in fact Thursday, and there's no better way to celebrate than performing a set at the illustrious music festival.

Arcade Fire isn't the only last-minute adjustment made to Coachella's lineup, either.

The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia are filling the headlining spot for Kanye "Ye" West, who dropped out amid reports he was "going away to get help."

Travis Scott was also reportedly removed from the lineup in December 2021 following the Astroworld tragedy that left 10 people dead.

The first weekend of Coachella kicks off April 15-17, with its second taking place April 22-24.
