Two-year-old Archie will soon be an older brother when his 39-year-old mom gives birth to her second child. Yet, rumors have surfaced that suggest Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's first daughter will be born according to a ritual from the Church of Scientology.

New Idea reported that Meghan's birth is already planned to a tee – and, to the shock of many, will involve a silent birth. The tabloid detailed Meghan's alleged desire to deliver her baby at home, rather than at the hospital, with only the couple's midwife (and Harry) present.

Further details explained that, during the birth, everyone must remain quiet the whole time, adopting a ritual from Scientology - a silent birth.

What is a silent birth in Scientology?

The ritual observed by many subscribers to Scientology. According to the observance, the expectant mother and all present are required to remain calm and quiet throughout labor, despite the pain and pressure of the situation.

This is meant to make the process less traumatic for the baby., as some churchgoers believe that any words spoken are recorded in the brain of the child as it is born, and could have an abnormal effect on the baby.

"Meghan and Harry feel they’ve been through enough in their own lives and are anxious to start over with their baby girl, and that means giving her the most peaceful entrance possible into the world," explained a source.

Meghan Markle's rumored silent birth not particularly unusual among celebs

Among other celebrity followers of the ideology, Katie Holmes is said to have given birth to her daughter Suri Cruise in a silent birth.

Holmes' ex-husband Tom Cruise is one of Hollywood's most well-known followers of Scientology. The two were married from 2006 to 2012, when Holmes allegedly fled the relationship with her daughter to escape the church.

There is no evidence to suggest that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are part of the Scientology movement, however an insider claimed that members of the church had pursued them both.

So will Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's new baby be born in a silent birth?

An important point has given rise to serious doubts: It seems extremely unlikely that Harry and Meghan will not seek medical help in a hospital for the birth.

Their first child was, after all, born at Portland Hospital in London, and it seems like an unusual U-turn. At the time, though, there were similarly unfounded reports that the couple had initially planned a home birth for Archie as well.

Baby number two's summer arrival will soon reveal whether the couple are opting for a Scientology practice, or if it was all just rumors from the tabloid press.
