Bachelor in Paradise: "Smoke bros" show up to start some fires!

Sayulita, Mexico – With the women handing out roses this week, the guys are pulling out all the stops to secure their place in paradise, but the "Smoke bros" have been doing nothing but starting fires.

What would Bachelor in Paradise be without bringing in more divisive singles? Enter Chris Conran and Chasen Nick, the "Smoke bros" from season 16 of the Bachelorette.

The two self-proclaimed "smoke bros" - who clearly think quite highly of themselves - wasted no time rekindling their long-lost "bromance", while agreeing that they were both there for the same reason: to find love or lust with a "smoke show" of a woman.

Chris already knew exactly who he wanted to run into at the beach, and Chasen was sure to respect the bro-code and not go after the same girl. It was the "Smoke bros" in fine form.

Once Chris walked down the steps and laid eyes on Jessenia Cruz, it was pretty much over for Ivan Hall – even if he refuse to admit it straight away.

This being Paradise, Jessenia should absolutely be able to have her cake and eat it too, but Ivan wasn't thrilled to hear that he merely checked off some boxes for her, rather than actually make her feel anything. Quite frankly, it was pretty brutal!

Speaking of feelings, whatever toxic energy Chasen and Chris brought with them to the beach seems to have been contagious, as the "Smoke bros" caused couples to begin splitting up left and right.

Mari Pepin kicked things off by telling Kenny Braasch that she wanted the option to go on dates, hoping Chasen was going to be the one to ask her out. That backfired instantly as he turned around and did exactly that – just, instead it was with Demi Burnett!

If we're being honest, it makes perfect sense for Kenny and Demi to get together. The only real surprise here is that it didn't happen sooner.

As one could expect, Mari was not thrilled to see Demi steal her man and make out with him by the water, but Paradise is all about shooting your shot, no matter who might be in your way.

Kind as ever, Demi offered to teach Mari a lesson on how Bachelor in Paradise actually works, and told Mari that she might want to take note of the fact that no one is safe.

Where the "Smoke bros" go, plot twists follow

The biggest plot twist came when Tammy Ly strutted by Aaron Clancy hand-in-hand with his mortal enemy, Thomas Jacobs.

If there was any hope that Tammy was going to be exclusive with Aaron, that thought flew right out of the window when she started straddling and making out with Thomas on a day bed directly in front of her other man.

With roses on the line and more unexpected additions showing up to Paradise on Tuesday night at 8 PM EST, the chaos has only just begun.
