Los Angeles, California - The upcoming biopic miniseries, Pam and Tommy, is getting more backlash! The drama, based on Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, has ruffled a few feathers, including Anderson's.

Is Pam & Tommy doomed to fail? Several celebs don't seem too thrilled to watch the Hulu series.

Last week, the Baywatch star allegedly slammed the project as a "cheap knock-off" and a "joke."

Anderson's comments came after photos of Lily James, who will portray the controversial actor, circulated on the internet, showing her amazing transformation. Marvel star, Sebastian Stan will play Tommy Lee.

On Friday, a longtime friend of Anderson, Courtney Love, followed suit and shared on Facebook her disgust for the show.

"I find this so f****** outrageous. When Pam / Tommy sex tape was out / myself @pattyschemel @xmadmx were making a record. And the lone women in many recording studios in LA. Where all / ALL! The staff engineers / producers / owners / were watching the sex tape with huge schadenfraude.. Guffaws, It was disgusting. I banned anyone discussing it.. It destroyed my friend Pamelas life. Utterly," Love wrote in the long caption.

The drama will follow Pamela Anderson's whirlwind marriage to Tommy Lee and the pair's scandals, including their sex-tape.

The miniseries has no set release date, but with all the controversy surrounding it, will it turn out to be unsuccessful? Biopics of any kind are tricky as most people don't want to relieve the most personal, painful parts of their past.

For those who can remember, Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee's marriage was of the most controversial things in pop culture at the time. The new series will highlight how the former couple's sex tape found its way onto the internet and the fallout from it.
