According to CBS Sacramento, Kimberly Carnhan was arrested by Sutter County Deputies in Olivehurst on June 24 and has been in custody ever since.

And that's where she's likely to stay for a while, as her bail was set at a whopping $100,000.

She is currently accused of having a sexual relationship with a minor.

In addition, she allegedly had threatened a witness not to breathe a word about the two.

But although the witness seems to have kept their mouths shut, Carnhan's secret got out. On June 23, the victim's mother contacted police and told them that her under aged son had allegedly had sex with a female colleague who was far too old for him.

The workplace of the two has not yet been made public.

In an interview with officers, the boy – whose age and name were not disclosed – confirmed the relationship and recounted a recent car accident the two were involved in.

He explained that the vehicle crashed into a tree while they were engaging in a sexual act.

Investigators found evidence to support the boy's account

After Carnhan was arrested, she admitted to having a sexual relationship with her co-worker, and is now facing charges of sexual intercourse with a minor, oral copulation with the threat of retaliation, sending harmful matter to a minor, and threatening a witness.

However, she pleaded not guilty and will appear in court on July 7.
