42-year-old Matthew Whelen, who officially changed his name to King Body Art, has reportedly spent over $44,000 on his extensive tattoo collection, but it's apparently led to some strange workplace situations.

The heavily tattooed man told the Daily Star that he was once "reshuffled around from one office to another" when he was working in a call center.

"The managers were coming up so they decided to have a move around in the office," he said. "The person they got to move was me. I got shifted from one end of the office down to the bottom when the managers come up."

Though King Body Art admitted that his "extreme look" that includes a body covered in ink along with tattooed eyeballs, has restricted him in the past, he understands that "you bring ultimate restrictions upon yourself by looking different."

As far as work place dress codes go, the tattoo enthusiast noted that "a dress code should be just that – [about] clothing," hinting that tattoos and body mods shouldn't be regarded in such regulations.

Regardless, King Body Art Is find of his appearance, which he dubbed a "living work of art."
