TikTok user Phoebe was initially thrilled about her tattoo choice.

"I love it so much. I wanted to get it for literally years and i'd draw it on my wrist and dream of the day i had it," the narration in her video begins.

She doesn't remember exactly how she came up with the design – a simple wave symbol – but she didn't give it too much thought either.

A little over a year ago, the time had come, and she had an appointment at a tattoo parlor.

Everything went smoothly, and Phoebe was happy – until she realized what her tattoo was really about.

The revelation hit her like a brick: "I realise now where i got the idea from... It is the design from the inside of the fridge we've had for basically my whole life."

Even if the two designs are not exactly identical, the similarity is remarkable.

The reactions of users, who have already viewed the clip more than 1.4 million times, range from expressions of sympathy to amusement.

"You and that fridge are bonded for life," jokes one. "The fridge probably feels special," says another.

One user recounts a similar mistake she made: "omg I did the same after I got my floral anklet I realised the plants I requested are the exact ones on all of our plates I've had my whole life."

The discovery is pretty silly, but at least the TikToker can laugh about it.
