The virtual discussions of Art Inspiring Climate Change start at 10 AM EST.

The month-long schedule for Creative Climate Awards 2021 kicks it off with "international artists and NYC-based health experts for a local and global perspective of health and our shared environment."

Beginning in RETI Center’s BlueCity barge located at 701 Columbia Street at 2:30 PM EST is the Final Notice - Performance & App Launch.

This hybrid showing includes a live outdoor dance experience illustrating the severity of floodplains. The event comes on the heels of Hurricane Ida, which caused massive flooding in the Brooklyn area.

The dance performance is paired with the release of the #FinalNotice map app, which is built to show "climate change, environmental racism, and historical erasure on the Brooklyn waterfront, emphasizing neighborhoods with Superfund and Brownfield sites."

Finally, there is another chance to take part in The Climate Fresk at 5:30 PM EST. This virtual workshop gives you an engaging way to learn about climate change and the interactions of different aspects of the climate crisis.

The NYC Climate Week featured a week of climate change events and speakers. Art and climate action walked the walk right next to think-tanks and corporations talking the talk.
