Questions over Tiger Wood's car crash: why didn't the golf star brake?

Los Angeles, California - Just over a month ago, Tiger Woods' horrific car crash shocked the world. Now, early results from the ongoing investigation raise even more questions about what exactly led to the accident.

According to law enforcement sources cited by TMZ, investigators have so far found no indication that the golf star ever slammed the brake pedal – or even took his foot off the gas either.

For now at least, it seems that Tiger Woods did virtually nothing to stop his car from careening off the road.

An obvious question that pops up is whether the 45-year-old had lost consciousness just before the crash, which would explain the lack of any evasive measures. Officials have yet to release any conclusive information on this matter. In a press conference immediately after the accident was reported, Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva said there was no evidence that Woods had been under the influence at the time.

Specialists are currently evaluating the vehicle's black box as well as video footage along the route.

Meanwhile, Woods was discharged from the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Wednesday. "I will be recovering at home and working on getting stronger every day," he wrote on Twitter.
