It was another big win in the trenches for Florida State, who has recruited top high school talent for its 2023 class.

Tavion Gadson of Georgia is the 5th defensive lineman and 7th overall lineman to commit to the school this recruiting cycle.

Last season, Gadson played ten games, recording 60 total tackles, five tackles for loss, six sacks, and three forced fumbles.

Primarily playing on defense, he also earned snaps on offense as a tight end.

Gadson will join a talented field of defensive linemen that includes four-star high school defensive ends Keldric Faulk and Lamont Green Jr., four-star defensive tackle Keith Sampson, and junior college defensive lineman Jaden Jones.

With Gadson's pledge, Florida State holds 13 verbal commitments in its 2023 class and is ranked No. 28 in the nation.
