NBA chic! The best and bizarre looks of basketball's season openers

While NBA players may be best known for their flash on the court, the season openers on Tuesday night had the league's top athletes strolling into arenas in their Sunday best and Friday night jammies with their hottest and most bizarre looks yet.

On Tuesday night, NBA's biggest stars, like the Lakers' LeBron James (r.), showcased their best street-style ahead of the 2022-23 season opening tipoffs.

Before players faced off on the hardwood floor, they got the chance to show off their fashion sense as they entered before game time– and created buzz all over the internet.

Fans were treated to more than just wild slam dunks and buzz-beaters, as hot monochrome looks and crispy-clean executions paid homage to players' favorites designers and their legacy in the sport.

True to the game and not new to it, here are some of the most fashionable arrivals from the NBA's opening night.

LeBron James pays homage to 20 years in the league

At the 2003 NBA Draft, LeBron James turned heads wearing his memorable oversized white suit.

20 seasons later and still turning heads, King James paid homage to that special night as he rocked another all-white suit, shades, and a blinding diamond necklace to kickoff year 20.

While he ultimately lost his opening matchup against reigning NBA MVP Steph Curry and the Warriors, James won the Best Dressed player of Tuesday night with his fresh winter white.

PJ Tucker stuns in hot pink monochrome

If "bubble gum bubble gum in a dish" was a person, it would be PJ Tucker.

In his 17th NBA season and first with Philadelphia, the NBA champion arrived at the TD Garden in a hot pink all-monochrome look paired with a bright yellow Goyard bag.

Tucker also stepped out in custom pink Air Force sneakers, laced with a dash of purple and yellow.

Draymond Green wears his namesake

As if his name wasn't enough, Draymond Green wore a fitting custom "money green" suit ahead of his 11th NBA season and fourth ring night ceremony.

Green kept his suit look more casual compared to James' fit with a white collared shirt and leather lace-up oxfords.

While he did forget to cut the vents on the back of his suit jacket - one of men's fashion's biggest no-nos - Green was one of the flashiest players to arrive at the Chase Center.

James Harden shows up in pajamas

In perhaps the night's most bizarre turn, the Sixers' James Harden showed up to his basketball game in pajamas. Yes...PAJAMAS!

Though Harden is known for his eye-catching looks, perhaps his more comfortable outfit choice was a hint to his critics that he wasn't planning to sleep on his game.

One of the top scorers of Tuesday night's game, the guard dominated with 35 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists. While it still wasn't enough to help beat the Boston Celtics, who defeated Philadelphia 126-117, it's safe to say fans won't snooze through Harden's showings anytime soon - no matter how "cozy" his outfits are.

As it's only the first week of the NBA season, fans can look forward to more draw-dropping lewks each week until the league crowns another NBA champion next spring.
